history
Planet Obstacle was created with a simple mission: to bring exciting physical challenges, fun, and active entertainment to people of all ages. Inspired by the world of aerial acrobatics and obstacle training, the concept was developed by two former Cirque du Soleil performers who wanted to create a place where families, athletes, and friends could experience adventure together.
Our first location opened in 2017 in Lake Mary, Florida, just north of Orlando. The park quickly gained attention as the World’s Largest Indoor Obstacle Park, offering more than 50,000 square feet of attractions designed to challenge, inspire, and entertain.
From aerial ropes courses and zip lines to ninja warrior challenges, trampolines, climbing walls, and kid-friendly obstacle areas, the Lake Mary facility became a destination for families, birthday parties, school groups, and team-building events across Central Florida.
As the community continued to grow, Planet Obstacle expanded with a second location in Davenport, Florida, which opened in November 2024 to serve families in Polk County and the rapidly developing Posner Park area.
The Davenport park brings the same high-energy experience with trampolines, ninja courses, climbing walls, ropes courses, zip lines, and spaces designed for parties, events, and family fun. The new location allows even more guests to enjoy the unique blend of fitness, challenge, and entertainment that defines Planet Obstacle.
Today, Planet Obstacle continues to grow as a Central Florida destination for active fun. Whether you’re visiting our flagship park in Lake Mary or our newer location in Davenport, our goal remains the same:
